About Us

Design studio

Typeland is an independent type design studio based in London. We develop custom fonts for clients, work on collaborative and commissioned projects, and (will very soon) offer retail fonts licenced exclusively through our own website.

For our retail library, taking a broad-minded view of design possibilities and an intrepid approach to exploration, we create typefaces that we thoroughly enjoy crafting, as well as using. In other words, we design unapologetically to counter tedium and neutrality (whatever that may be).

Typeland is led by Vaibhav Singh and Alessia Mazzarella. For questions about our retail fonts, custom work, licensing, or to inquire about a commission, please feel free to write to us at hello@type.land
